Real Time Group was founded in 2007 to close one specific gap: engineering capacity in deep technology. Not people to fill seats — teams that can take a real-time system from early architecture through production and stay with it afterwards.
The work runs across four divisions today. Engineering puts senior embedded, FPGA, RF and AI people onto a customer’s programme, either alongside their team or as a complete work package. Solutions delivers whole systems for commercial, government and defense markets. Space covers satellite platforms, payloads and the ground segment behind them. Products are the systems we develop and own ourselves.
On paper the projects look unrelated — a nuclear radiation meter, a cancer classifier for veterinary imaging, a perimeter tracker, a satellite payload, a lithium battery that has to notice it is about to fail. They are the same machine pointed at different problems: something is sensed, something decides in real time, and something acts. That is the part we are actually good at.

We came in with a prototype that worked on one bench and nowhere else. Their team rebuilt the firmware layer, took over certification testing, and got us to a device we could actually ship. What stood out was that the engineers pushed back on decisions instead of just executing tickets.
Four months from kickoff to a fleet of gateways reporting into our cloud. The OTA pipeline they built has been running without us touching it since.
They took over a codebase two vendors had already abandoned. Six weeks in they had the RF chain stable, and they were honest about what was salvageable and what had to be rewritten. That honesty saved us a quarter.
